Offers a 14-week, tuition-free hybrid training program that includes eight weeks of foundational administrative skills and four to six weeks of specialized training in fields such as nonprofit operations, project management, and healthcare administration, preparing women for administrative roles in corporate, healthcare, and nonprofit settings.

Provides financial support to job training programs serving women and awards grants to support computer and technology needs for program participants over a five-year period.

Provides job placement support to connect graduates with employers in New York City across sectors, followed by one year of job-retention support, career counseling, professional development workshops, and networking opportunities; also offers lifetime access to weekly job clubs and annual upskilling workshops.

Builds and sustains a community of over 1,000 active alumnae who engage in-person and online to network, share advice, and celebrate professional success, enhancing long-term career growth and peer support.

Engages in advocacy efforts related to New York State Education Department (NYSED) regulations, including issuing position letters and analysis on the implementation of Substantial Equivalency Regulation (Part 130), and advocating for state recognition of Montessori teacher certification.

Hosts quarterly in-person and virtual meetings, as well as larger conferences, to connect the Montessori community across New York State, featuring networking, professional development, and panel discussions on topics such as equity in Montessori education.

Offers membership to schools and individuals, maintains a list of member schools, and provides a platform for member schools to post job openings, supporting professional networking and recruitment in the Montessori community.

Offers professional development opportunities including workshops, speaker events, and conferences for Montessori educators and administrators across New York State. These include in-person and virtual formats and contribute to professional development hour requirements for members.

Funds over $1.25 million in scholarships annually to support students pursuing postsecondary education or career training.

Provides structured instructional routines in social studies, science, and cross-content foundational skills to develop students’ disciplinary and scientific reasoning. Includes routines such as TELLS/ASKS/SHOWS, Rumors, Domino Discover, and Think-Talk-Open Exchange.

Leads enhancements to the New Visions Career Directory and develops online resources to support young adults in navigating non-college postsecondary pathways, including training programs, internships, and apprenticeships. Includes technical improvements and user experience redesign.

Supports schools in adopting and implementing 9th-grade algebra curriculum through the Instructional Network for School Improvement and provides curriculum-based instructional coaching for the Illustrative Mathematics® program, including data-informed instruction.

Develops and operates digital tools such as The Portal and SYSDAAR to support student planning, school management, and data-informed decision-making. These tools provide actionable insights for school staff and support strategic check-ins with students.

Works with educators and school leaders across New York City and nationally to implement systems-level changes, adopt high-quality instructional materials, and improve instructional coherence through professional learning, coaching, and tools. Supports over 71 public high schools in NYC and has provided support to over 550 district and school leaders in curriculum implementation.

Provides direct support to seven charter high schools across all five boroughs of New York City, serving over 835,000 students system-wide through its network of over 1,580 schools.

Delivers one-to-one coaching to school principals and leadership teams to strengthen school systems, using Strategic Data Check-ins and continuous improvement frameworks. Provides direct support to charter and affinity schools across NYC.

Offers 5-week summer Career Academy programs and work-based learning opportunities where students engage with NYC employers, develop career readiness skills, and receive hands-on project experience presented to industry professionals. Includes a stipend of up to $1,000 upon completion of key milestones.
