Designs, installs, and maintains pollinator gardens and native grassland meadows as sustainable, non-toxic alternatives to conventional lawns, including the Community Pollinator Garden at East Hampton Town Hall. Activities include planting native species not exposed to neonicotinoids, suppressing turf with cardboard and mulch, and expanding native meadows through public-private partnerships and community support.

Provides public education through guided tours, resource sharing, and demonstrations on converting lawns to native pollinator gardens, building rain gardens to reduce runoff, and sustainable landcare practices. Includes publishing member transformation stories and practical methods for lawn conversion.

Hosts birding events and participates in efforts to rename bird species in ways that remove colonial and racist legacies, such as the event held at Muller Field Station on June 1, 2024.

Conducts educational programs that link wildlife rehabilitation with broader efforts to address systemic social and environmental injustices, fostering community awareness and engagement.

Collaborates with partners to establish the Finger Lakes region as a sanctuary for both wildlife and human communities, promoting coexistence and ecological resilience.

Provides treatment and care for sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife through direct rehabilitation efforts. This includes medical intervention, shelter, and preparation for release back into the wild.

Engages communities and landowners through innovative approaches to sustainable urban planning and heritage-led regeneration, having led over 50 collaborative planning frameworks worldwide. Projects include sustainable neighborhood planning in Sierra Leone, historic restoration in Yangon, and urban regeneration in Jamaica, influencing the design of 350,000 homes globally since 1990.
