Incentive-Based Engagement

Conducts initial 45-minute appointments with the Executive Director to build rapport with clients. Welcomes babies and children during sessions and provides toys and books to keep them occupied.

Hosts events such as cooking classes and paint nights to foster community engagement and support among clients, volunteers, and community members.

Provides diapers, formula, clothes, car seats, cribs, children's clothing, and adult hygiene products to clients through an "earn while you learn" program tied to class attendance and through emergency material assistance. Accepts donations via in-person drop-offs and an Amazon wish list that ships directly to the organization.

Offers spiritual guidance, prayer, weekly Bible study, and the Prayer of Salvation to help individuals come to know Jesus. Requests prayer support from the faith community and integrates scriptural teachings into services as part of faith-based care.

Provides services to pregnant women and new parents without requirements based on income level, residency, race, national origin, religion, age, or marital status, ensuring inclusive access for all clients.

Offers personalized parenting classes covering labor and delivery preparation, newborn care, child development by age, and parent-specific needs. Classes are delivered in person or online following an initial appointment and include ongoing educational programming for families.

Provides courses focused on individual healing and growth, including post-abortion healing, pregnancy loss, childhood abuse recovery, trauma recovery, and life skills development. Also offers practical skills training in budgeting, financial planning, career development, and job interview preparation.

Operates an after-school program that requires homework completion and offers participation in culinary or literacy activities based on academic performance and behavior.

Provides daily after-school programming for K-12 students including homework help, tutoring, mentoring, enrichment activities, and a nutritious snack and dinner. The program operates on weekdays except Wednesday from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Operates as a designated emergency warming center during extreme weather events and power outages in the Seneca-Babcock neighborhood, providing blankets, pillows, food, toiletries, restroom access, and children's activities.

Provides integrated outreach services addressing health, human, legal, and financial needs through partnerships with local organizations, including scheduled health fairs and outreach events.

Distributes donated supplies including snacks, toys, art materials, and school supplies to support after-school, summer, and teen programming.

Co-manages a community garden offering free plots, seedlings, soil, and gardening guidance to residents. Provides children with hands-on education about healthy foods and connects families with fresh food production opportunities.

Provides interest-based enrichment activities for students including painting, DIY crafts, cooking, and computer lab use as part of after-school and summer programming.

Operates a six-week summer program for children in grades K-8 featuring enrichment, educational, and recreational activities such as crafts, cooking, water games, field trips, and special performances. Includes a two-week Reading Camp with reading and writing stations and distribution of backpacks with school supplies.

Offers a structured program for teens providing homework assistance, mentoring, social activities, community outings, job readiness training, and opportunities for leadership and fundraising. The program meets on Wednesdays from 3 to 7 p.m.

Supports teen participation in the Mayor’s Summer Youth Program as Junior Camp Counselors and Junior Camp Assistants, providing paid roles in summer programming and job readiness preparation.

Offers evidence-based youth development curricula such as Girls On the Run and Heart & Sole to promote self-respect, physical health, and emotional well-being among youth.
