Acquires, constructs, develops, and manages state-of-the-art facilities to support high-tech research, development, and commercialization, including public-private partnerships and economic development initiatives in New York. This includes facilities for SUNY Polytechnic Institute and advanced manufacturing.

Developed and completed an 80,000 sq. ft. production center in Plattsburgh, NY, and made 70,000 sq. ft. of production space available at the Plattsburgh Development & Qualification Center, supporting Norsk Titanium’s manufacturing of titanium aircraft components.

Manages the operations of the Fort Schuyler complex, including maintenance, security, and coordination of tenant organizations, with 22 tenants leased as of June 2024.

Manages and operates RiverBend, a 1.2 million square foot facility in Buffalo, NY, dedicated to clean energy and advanced manufacturing.

Developed and operates the 253,000 sq. ft. Computer Chip Commercialization Center (Quad-C), featuring 56,000 sq. ft. of Class 100 and Class 1000 cleanroom space for semiconductor research and manufacturing.

Prepares and publishes audited financial statements annually as part of NY CREATES, with records available from 2013 through 2025.

Streams and archives NY CREATES Board of Directors meetings online and makes agendas and minutes publicly available to promote transparency.

Operates a 43,000 sq. ft. drug discovery research facility in the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, housing approximately 100 scientists and providing services to NIH, biotech firms, and other organizations.

Employs approximately 2,000 residents of Western New York in clean energy, advanced manufacturing, and technology careers through its operational facilities.

Holds monthly board meetings and maintains active committees (Finance, Audit, Governance, Streetscape, Community Support); ratifies board elections and appoints executive leadership to ensure organizational oversight and continuity.

Runs marketing programs to promote the district to residents and tourists, enhance its image, and support business retention and development, including participation in events like the JFK Air Cargo EXPO and highlighting local institutions and resources.

Provides ongoing debris removal, graffiti removal, seasonal landscaping, snow removal at key locations, and organizes seasonal clean-up events; coordinates with DSNY on illegal dumping and large-item removal, and conducts infrastructure assessments using field verification and city data to coordinate repairs with city agencies.

Processes free street tree planting requests on behalf of constituents by coordinating with NYC Parks and accepts service requests via email to address urban forestry and infrastructure concerns.

Organizes seasonal community events such as a Halloween pop-up, Thanksgiving turkey giveaway, and holiday lighting, and hosts an annual membership meeting attended by over 50 members.

Offers customs brokerage, freight forwarding, storage, and cost-effective nationwide transport for domestic and international shipments, including specialized cargo such as symphony orchestras and rare caviar.

Conducts planning and transportation projects within the business improvement district to support infrastructure and mobility improvements.

Operates a uniformed security patrol 7 days a week with evening and overnight coverage, enhancing public safety within the district.

Offers advocacy and supplemental services and improvements for the off-airport cargo community at JFK Airport.
