Community-Led Healing and Prevention

Provides after-school education and runs a virtual camera class for students in the SONYC Program at PS 48, supporting youth engagement and skill development outside of regular school hours.

Designs and delivers customized training and workshops in mediation, communication, youth development, and leadership for schools, public and private agencies, businesses, and community groups. Offers regular training programs in basic, family, and divorce mediation, along with an interactive, experiential approach and a monthly Spotlight Series to educate the public.

Provides daily guided mindfulness meditation sessions incorporating restorative practices, accessible via social media and in-person. Hosts live virtual sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays and in-person sessions at PS 18 on Saturdays, promoting community building and personal growth.

Operates a supervised program for youth on probation that includes daily check-in calls, school and home visits, curfew monitoring, counseling, service referrals, and drug testing to support decision-making and prevent return to detention.

Provides mediation services for disputes in schools, families, and communities, including special education conflicts, custody and visitation, neighbor disputes, housing, small claims, and criminal complaints. Uses trained mediators to facilitate voluntary, confidential discussions to help parties reach mutually agreed solutions. Resolves over 700 cases annually and serves as an approved vendor with the NYC Department of Education.

Prevents and defuses incidents of violence through credible messenger and violence interrupter models, including hospital-based crisis response to prevent retaliation. Provides conflict resolution skills and case management services to individuals and communities affected by gun violence.

Provides internships, Summer Youth Employment, credentialing programs, and transformative mentoring for Opportunity Youth aged 16 to 24, supporting high school completion, credit recovery, and job placement. Engages over 5,200 youth annually, supports over 2,000 in academic advancement, and facilitates over 1,000 internships and job placements each year.

Serves nearly 100 children weekly through Bible-based after-school programs at five schools on Staten Island’s North Shore, fostering confidence, spiritual engagement, and emotional well-being for children experiencing family disruption.

Operates the CarePortal platform to connect child-serving professionals with local churches and community volunteers to meet urgent needs of children and families in crisis.

Organizes and mobilizes over 2,000 churches to adopt nearby homes, conducting more than 10 million door-to-door visits and adopting over 7 million homes to combat loneliness and provide spiritual and emotional support.

Transforms high-risk neighborhoods into Safe Zones through eight-week block closures for community activities, reducing violent incidents by 90% compared to prior summers. Engages thousands in recreational and faith-based programming during Summer Streets.

Distributes books, Bibles, and inspirational materials in English and Spanish to churches and communities across the Tri-State area and New York City, using a 50,000 square foot warehouse to support logistics. Over 8 million resources have been delivered to date.

Distributed food, hygiene kits, baby outfits, toys, and books; provided meal delivery to seniors; and supported Agape Meals and virtual tutoring during crises. Partnered with Samaritan's Purse to build a COVID-19 field hospital and delivered relief resources across hard-hit neighborhoods.

Organizes major evangelistic events such as Jesus Week XL, featuring worship, music, and Gospel proclamation in Times Square with tens of thousands in attendance. Conducts over 1,000 relief outreaches during these campaigns.

Operates a 10-month internship program that trains individuals in faith-based service, leadership, personal growth, and community engagement in New York City.

Provides literacy assistance to over 300 children from low-income families, helping students advance 2–3 reading levels through school-based programs such as READ 2 SUCCEED. Services are delivered in multiple schools on Staten Island and the North Shore.

Engages former NFL and NBA athletes to deliver motivational talks and personal stories in schools, aiming to inspire youth and promote positive life choices.

Coaches youth in transitioning to higher education or employment, supports university enrollment and job placement, and provides business-launch coaching including LLC formation, bookkeeping, sales pipeline development, and training in marketing, sales, pitching, and professional presentation.
