- Provision of support to shelters and municipalitiesSupports struggling shelters and municipalities by transferring at-risk animals, reducing operational burdens, and decreasing length of stay and kennel stress. Provided sheltering services for 46% of unclaimed dogs from Utica Animal Control at no cost and transferred 32 unclaimed dogs, providing full medical care including vaccinations, spay/neuter, flea/tick treatment, deworming, and microchipping at a cost of $12,808.18.
- Rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of dogsRescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes dogs that are mistreated, misunderstood, or at risk of euthanasia, primarily through shelter transfers and selective owner surrenders. Implements individualized rehabilitation plans via a Pathway Planning process that addresses medical and behavioral needs, with all adoptable dogs receiving vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, and microchipping. In 2024, rescued 228 dogs, placed 218 into permanent homes, and provided medical treatment for over 30 dogs.
