THE PURPOSES OF THE CORPORATION SHALL BE: (A) TO DEVELOP AND PROMOTE THE TOWN AND VILLAGE OF SAUGERTIES IN AN ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE MANNER, TO PRESERVE AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE, EDUCATION, HERITAGE, AND RECREATION ON LAND AND WATER FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE TOWN AND VILLAGE, AND TO HAVE THE SAUGERTIES COMMUNITY BECOME A POPULAR NEW YORK STATE TOURIST DESTINATION FOR RESIDENTS OF THE NEW YORK CITY REGION, THE CAPITOL REGION, AND FOR PEOPLE FROM AROUND NEW YORK STATE, THE UNITED STATES, AND THE WORLD; (B) TO SEEK TO COORDINATE THE MARKETING, GRANT APPLICATION, SIGNAGE, AND GENERAL DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURAL, ARTISTIC, PARK, AND RECREATIONAL EXPERIENCES OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SAUGERTIES COMMUNITY; (C) TO ENCOURAGE THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY IN SAUGERTIES TO WORK COOPERATIVELY TO PROMOTE PARKS AND TO FOSTER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT THEREIN FOR THE MUTUAL BENEFIT OF ALL PARTICIPANTS; (D) TO FOSTER THE GROWTH OF A MARITIME PARKS WITH COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE HUDSON RIVER AND PROXIMATE TO SAU
