How they approach the work

Named approaches extracted from this org’s sources. Where others share an approach, follow it to see the full set of orgs running it.

  • Community-Based Referral Network
    methodology: community_based_referral
By leveraging local, regional, and state-level networks, the organization increases access to addiction services because trusted community-embedded channels reduce barriers to entry and improve referral uptake.
  • Cross-Sector Collaborative Prevention
    methodology: cross_sector_collaboration
By convening diverse stakeholders—including people in recovery, educators, faith groups, and health providers—across multiple counties, the organization tailors prevention and recovery efforts to local contexts because inclusive coalitions produce more relevant, sustainable, and culturally responsive solutions.
  • Peer-Driven Recovery Support Model
    methodology: peer_driven_recovery
By centering peer and volunteer leadership in recovery centers and outreach, the organization improves engagement and sustained recovery because lived experience fosters trust, reduces stigma, and increases relatability.
  • Population-Level Prevention Through Regulatory Change
    methodology: population_level_prevention
By advocating for population-wide alcohol policy changes—such as taxation and availability restrictions—the organization reduces per capita consumption and alcohol-related harm because structural environmental factors shape individual behavior at scale.
  • Stigma-Free, Low-Barrier Access Model
    methodology: stigma_free_access
By offering 24/7 walk-in access to recovery services without preconditions, the organization increases service utilization because removing procedural and social barriers enables immediate engagement during critical moments of need.
