- Management of manuscript submissions and peer reviewReceives approximately 2,000 manuscript submissions annually, selecting 20–25 for publication through an anonymous review process that ensures objectivity and fairness. Also accepts student-written Notes via the Publishable Notes Program and original legal scholarship from law students for CLR Forum through its Comments Program.
- Operation of Columbia Law Review Forum (online platform)Runs CLR Forum, an online supplement launched in 2008 to publish short, timely works of original legal scholarship, responses to print edition articles, and student-authored legal Comments analyzing recent judicial decisions or legislation, typically around fifteen pages in length.
