TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF THE VAST NUMBER OF ADULTS WITH PTSD BY INCREASING ACCESS TO HIGHLY EFFECTIVE FORMS OF TREATMENT. WE DO SO BY PROVIDING AFFORDABLE, HIGH-QUALITY TRAINING IN TWO EVIDENCE-BASED THERAPIES, COGNITIVE PROCESSING THERAPY AND PROLONGED EXPOSURE THERAPY, TO CLINICIANS AND MENTAL HEALTH AGENCIES.

profile · synthesized from sources

The Gavin Farrell Foundation improves access to evidence-based PTSD treatments by training clinicians in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET). It supports mental health providers and agencies, particularly in New York, to deliver high-quality care to trauma-affected adults and adolescents. The foundation also funds targeted treatment programs, such as trauma response for survivors of the October 7 attacks in Israel.
