Develops, maintains, and updates The Global Jukebox, a public database of performing arts and culture, to support research and educational access. The platform is being updated to be Internet-compatible for global access and supports student exploration of migration roots through cultural materials.

Preserves, restores, and digitizes the John A. and Alan Lomax fieldwork collections, including sound recordings, photographs, videos, field journals, and research papers, making them accessible through the Lomax Digital Archive, Global Jukebox, YouTube Channel, and local repositories. The organization has completed digitization and restoration of archival materials with technical leadership from Matthew Barton, Steve Rosenthal, Bertram Lyons, and Marcos Sueiro Bal.

Contributed to the recognition of cultural equity as a human right through engagement with international policy, including UNESCO's Universal Declaration of Cultural Diversity.

Supports emerging leaders and organizations in using Lomax materials to develop and complete new cultural projects, fostering innovation and continuity in cultural expression.

Produces and distributes LPs, CDs, and digital albums of international field recordings from the Alan Lomax Archive through Real-to-Reel Records and in collaboration with folkloric institutions, record labels, university presses, and digital distributor Orchard. Has released over 100 CDs featuring Alan Lomax's recordings, often accompanied by scholarly booklets.

Develops lesson plans, teacher workshops, and demonstrations for K–12 educators and students to integrate repatriated and archival materials into school curricula, supporting broader educational use of cultural collections.

Co-presents multimedia exhibits such as 'The Art of Protest' and hosts public screenings, including the New York City premiere of Alan Lomax’s 1961 film “Ballads, Blues, and Bluegrass.” Programs include artist-led workshops and community events that engage the public with archival content.

Conducts ongoing repatriation projects in the United States, Spain, Italy, and the Caribbean by returning cultural materials and media collections to source communities, including virtual and diasporic populations. Organizes formal repatriation ceremonies, provides copies of cultural media to families of recorded artists, and supports efforts to reconnect communities with their creative heritage.

Conducts research in ethnomusicology and cultural equity, including the analysis of expressive culture using Cantometrics, Choreometrics, and Parlametrics. Maintains the Cantometrics dataset of 5,400 coded songs and holds extensive archival holdings including 4,000 hours of traditional music and 150,000 feet of film documenting global folk and indigenous traditions.

Supports individuals and communities in documenting their own cultural traditions, such as providing training, equipment, and travel support to Dominic Raimondo for recording Didinga cultural traditions in South Sudan.

Directs income from the Lomaxes' prison recordings to the Equal Justice Institute and requires a contribution in all licenses of prison recordings, using cultural licensing revenue to support social justice causes.
