How they approach the work

Named approaches extracted from this org’s sources. Where others share an approach, follow it to see the full set of orgs running it.

  • Christ-Centered Holistic Development
    methodology: faith-integration
By integrating spiritual formation through daily faith practices with clinical therapy, education, and vocational training, the organization supports whole-person development because moral, emotional, and spiritual growth are seen as interdependent in restoring identity and preparing youth for independent adulthood.
  • Experiential Therapeutic Environment with Nature and Animals
    methodology: experiential-therapeutic-environment
By immersing youth in a rural, nature-based setting with animals—particularly through farming, horseback riding, and animal care—the organization promotes emotional regulation, personal responsibility, and self-confidence because hands-on engagement in a natural environment provides non-clinical pathways to healing trauma.
  • Relational Impact Model
    methodology: relational-impact-model
By fostering meaningful, consistent relationships between staff, volunteers, and residents, the organization produces healing and behavioral change in at-risk youth because relational connection is believed to be the primary driver of transformation.
  • Vocational Preparation Through Program Operations
    methodology: hands-on-workforce-preparation
By involving residents in the operational work of the ranch—including retreat center maintenance and farm labor—the organization builds discipline, confidence, and marketable job skills because real-world work experience reinforces the dignity of labor and prepares youth for workforce entry.
