IN 2023, THE CENTER FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF LANGUAGES, EDUCATION AND COMMUNITIES (CALEC) CELEBRATED ITS FIFTH ANNIVERSARY BY REINFORCING ITS COMMITMENT TO MULTILINGUALISM AND BILINGUAL EDUCATION. THIS YEAR WAS MARKED BY SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENTS, NOTABLY THE EXPANSION OF TBR BOOKS' OFFERINGS AND THE FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF THE "READ IN 2 LANGUAGES" PLATFORM, WHICH HAS BECOME A CORNERSTONE RESOURCE FOR SCHOOLS FOCUSING ON BILITERACY. CALEC'S PRESENCE ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE WAS STRONGLY FELT AT KEY LITERARY EVENTS, INCLUDING THE PRESTIGIOUS PARIS AND MONTREAL BOOK FAIRS, SHOWCASING ITS DEDICATION TO GLOBAL MULTILINGUAL ADVOCACY.
