Honor Flag Program
Provides ceremonial flying of burial flags of deceased veterans at Jack DeVito Veterans Memorial Track & Field, followed by return or retirement of the flag.
Memorial Day Parade
Organized by the Post in even years, honoring those who died in military service, followed by a brick dedication ceremony.

Sponsors BSA Troop #1776 and co-sponsors two BSA Troop #164 units (boys and girls), and Cub Scout Pack #251 at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School.

Features engraved commemorative bricks honoring veterans, both living and deceased, with proceeds from brick sales donated to local veteran charities.
Veterans Day Parade

- Operates Veterans Commemorative Park and Honor Flag ProgramManages a Veterans Commemorative Park program that sells engraved bricks to honor veterans, with over 500 bricks installed by 2020, and donates proceeds to veteran-related charities. Also runs an Honor Flag Program since 2016, ceremonially flying burial flags of deceased veterans for three weeks with family participation and the playing of ‘Taps’.
- Organizes and hosts patriotic and veteran commemoration eventsPlans and conducts local patriotic services on holidays, including the Yorktown Memorial Day Parade in even-numbered years, Veterans Day Parade in Shrub Oak, and annual Brick Dedication Ceremony following the Memorial Day Parade.
