THE FOUNDATION WILL ORGANIZE TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, EITHER DIRECTLY OR BY WAY OF CONTRIBUTION TO OTHER CHARITABLE OR 501(C)(3) TAX- EXEMPT ENTITIES, IN FURTHERANCE OF ORTHOPEDIC MEDICINE AND TO THOSE RESIDENTS THAT ENDEAVOR TO ACHIEVE EXCELLENCE IN THIS FIELD. THE FOUNDATION SHALL OFFER (A) FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ORTHOPEDIC RESIDENTS WHO EXHIBIT THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF PATIENT CARE IN THE TREATMENT OF ORTHOPEDIC MEDICINE BY OFFERING ASSISTANCE TO HELP MEET FINANCIAL BURDENS ASSOCIATED WITH SUPPORTING THEMSELVES AND ACHIEVING THEIR EDUCATIONAL GOALS WHILE IN RESIDENCY AND, (B) PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ENDOW RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON THE ADVANCEMENT OF ORTHOPEDIC MEDICINE.
