We are a non profit dog rescue which assists dogs of all ages and needs. We take owner surrenders and pull from over populated shelters ultimately placing the dogs in foster homes where they learn to become family members and await permanent placement with new families looking for new family pets. We provide medical needs for the dogs so they can lead healthy happy lives once they are saved.

How they approach the work

Named approaches extracted from this org’s sources. Where others share an approach, follow it to see the full set of orgs running it.

  • Community-Bonding Through Shared Animal Welfare Commitment
    methodology: community-bonding-through-adoption
By engaging volunteers, adoptive families, and foster caregivers in a shared mission of animal rescue, the organization strengthens emotional investment and community ties, which enhances volunteer retention and adopter commitment because participants feel personally connected to the dogs and the organization’s impact.
  • Foster-Based Rehabilitation Model
    methodology: foster-based rehabilitation
By housing rescued dogs in volunteer foster homes rather than physical shelters, the organization improves their socialization and behavioral rehabilitation, thereby increasing the likelihood of successful adoption because dogs receive individualized care and a home environment that prepares them for permanent families.
  • Rescue and Transport as Narrative-Building for Adoption
    methodology: rescue-and-transport-assistance
By using rescue and transport efforts to shape compelling stories around each dog’s journey, the organization increases adoptability because these narratives foster empathy and emotional connection with potential adopters, making the dogs more relatable and desirable.
