HEALTHY FAMILIES REFERRAL AND HOME VISITING PROGRAM ASSISTS FAMILIES FOR UP TO FIVE YEARS WITH INTENSIVE SUPPORT AND EDUCATION. PARENTING GROUPS AND WORKSHOPS (TOGETHER TIME, BABY CAFE, FAMILIES IN TRANSITION, FAMILY CONNECTIONS, PROJECT PROMISE) ARE DESIGNED TO OFFER INFORMATION AND REFERRAL TO NEEDED SERVICES, PARENTING SKILLS PRACTICE AND MODELING WITH CHILDREN, CHILD DEVELOPMENT INFORMATION AND SOCIAL PEER SUPPORT. THIS ALSO INCLUDES SUPPORT TO FAMILIES GOING THROUGH DIVORCE AND CUSTODY ISSUES AS WELL AS THOSE WORKING WITH LOCAL CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES. CONCRETE SUPPORTS INCLUDE CAR SEATS, DIAPERS, CRIBS, CHILD SAFETY ITEMS, CLOTHING ETC. THE CHILDREN'S CENTER IS A DROP IN PROGRAM AVAILABLE TO FAMILIES WHILE CONDUCTING COURT BUSINESS AT THE YATES COUNTY COURTHOUSE.
