THE PURPOSE OF THE CLUB SHALL BE TO PROVIDE A SOUND, EXPERIENCED AND PERMANENT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO FIRMLY INSTILLING IN YOUNG PERSONS OF THE COMMUNITY A SPIRIT OF TEAMWORK, LOYALTY, INTEGRITY, HONESTY, FAIR PLAY, GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP AND RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY. THIS PURPOSE IS SOUGHT WITH THE INTENT TO FOSTER A SETTING FOR THE YOUNG PERSON'S PARTICIPATING IN THE CLUB TO BECOME MORE WELL-ADJUSTED, STRONGER AND HAPPIER. IT IS FURTHER THE INTENT OF THE LEAGUE TO ADVANCE, ENLARGE AND PERPETUATE THE SCOPE AND QUALITY OF AMATEUR BASEBALL IN THE AREA REPRESENTED AND SERVED BY ITS MEMBER TEAMS, BY STIMULATING PUBLIC INTEREST IN AMATEUR BASEBALL AND BY PROVIDINH FOR THE INSTRUCTION AND EDUCATION OF PLAYERS IN BASEBALL FUNDAMENTALS. PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT THE ATTAINMENT OF EXCEPTIONAL ATHLETIC OR BASEBALL SKILL OR THE WINNING OF GAMES IS SECONDARY IN IMPORTANCE, AND THE MOLDING OF FUTURE CITIZENS IN THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE CLUB.
